Meet Your Plant Care Specialist
I'm Jacq — plant care specialist, living design consultant, and founder of Mimi's Indoor Plants in Charlotte, NC. I've spent over 15 years studying how indoor plants actually thrive, guided by my late grandmother Mimi, who grew food for survival and plants for peace.
Today, I bring that science-based expertise to homes, businesses, schools, and communities. Every recommendation I make is grounded in real science — light, water, substrate, and environment — not guesswork. And every space I design is built around wellness: cleaner air, calmer routines, and eye-catching esthetic.
Whether it's a house call, a plant rescue, a living design installation, or a hands-on STEM workshop, my work is rooted in one belief: when your plants thrive, you do too.
